Sébastien Putallaz, CFO
Sébastien Putallaz is a founder of OphthalmoPharma. He has more than 10 years experience in private equity and venture capital investment. Until 2003 Mr. Putallaz has been Vice President of Global Biomedical Partners, a venture capital firm based in New York and Zurich and managing Biomedicine Holdings, a CHF 250M investment fund in life sciences. While there, he assisted in the developing, structuring and financing of early and late stage companies. He was involved in all the spectrum of the deal processes including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, post investment monitoring and divestments.
Prior this activity. Mr. Putallaz was with a private equity firm based in Zürich, where he was involved in private placements and the establishment of alternative investment vehicles, as well as the funding of early-stage companies. He started his career with Credit Suisse in New York and Ciba-Geigy in Lyon. Mr. Putallaz graduated (lic. oec HSG) from the University of St. Gallen HSG.
